Toy Cleaner Safe for Kids: Dapple

Did you ever search for a product, not sure of it's existence? Half of you hopes to actually find it thereby making your life easier, and the other half secretly wishes it doesn't exist so you can invent it, market it and become a mega-millionaire? I have invented (in my head) dozens of products including one that cleans anything kids come in contact with but is safe when they stick it in their mouth. So last year I searched for such a product and was shocked that none existed. Or so I thought. Much to my dismay, I mean excitement, I recently stumbled on Dapple. (So much for the yacht!) Having actually started a company a few years back, though, I realize now what it takes to move an idea from brainchild to reality and am happy to let the moms who created Dapple have this one. A line of naturally based cleaning products safe for children means you can spray toys and not worry when your little chomper proceeds to put said toy into his or her mouth immediately after being cleaned. You can take a small bottle in your diaper bag and clean off the restaurant table before putting cheerios on it. Dapple means you can pick up the dropped sippy, wipe the mouthpiece clean and give it right back. The product is genius, necessary and one of Cool Baby Kids' favorite finds.

Cool Giveaway: Enter to win one bottle each of Dapple dish liquid and toy spray by leaving a comment on this post about how you would use the product. Click here to find out how to increase your chances of winning. Contest ended. Congratulations MonkeyBaby! Related Posts Widget for Blogs by LinkWithin

We recently got some hand-me-down toys and I felt a little uncomfortable giving them to my baby, not knowing where they'd been. My husband suggested wiping them with Lysol wipes -- uh, no, we're not having the baby lick Lysol off the toys! We need Dapple!

I would give the toy cleaner to my daughter-in-law who owns and operates a pre-school. Just thinking of all those little runny noses and sticky fingers makes me cringe. This would certainly make her and her two little girl's lives easier. I would keep the dish detergent for myself :)

I would give it to the nursery-room attendant at my church to use. Contrary to public school systems, church nurseries have no legislation regarding how healthy a child has to be when they are put into the nursery, so LOTS of kids leave plenty of germs there. My son doesn't have a strong immune system; we adopted him from Guatemala and he's still getting "used to" American germs. If he picks up a germ, he gets a fever which leads to seizures. So, this product would provide a "safety net" for Baby Jesse!

jeske_posse said...

I would give them to my childcare provider to try! It would really help her cut doen on germ-sharing amongst the wee-ones.

Dapple really is a genius product! I strive to keep all of my daughter's toys clean and germ-free, but I don't want her eating chemicals either (that's equally gross!). Dapple provides a great "solution" to that common dilemma.

With one toddler and a baby on the way, I know we'd make good use of this prize pack in our home.
