As I’ve posted here before, my stroller search was pretty extensive and trust me when I tell you my baby carrier research was just as involved. In fact, I think it was even more so. This is something that I need to keep my baby not only comfortable but also safe. Any mom knows that trusting something to hold their newborn without hands close to their body is no small feat. Again, I went through the usual suspects of carriers and loved the options and reviews for the Heart2Heart. However, I was hesitant to use it with my newborn who can’t hold her head up yet and whose legs just didn’t fit the way it was supposed to. This is why I love the Heart2Heart insert. This is a quilted cocoon like insert for the ERGO baby carrier that allows me to wrap up my newborn until she’s 4-5 months old both safely and comfortable for both me and my infant. It allows me to carry her close to my body while providing a comfortable cushion between her and the outside world. It also provided me with an option to purchase only one carrier instead of having to buy multiple carriers for different stages of her life. This is definitely a product that I will recommend to all new moms who are looking for something to make their life just a little easier and more comfortable. And let’s be honest…who isn’t.Reviewed by Adrienne, Cool Baby Kid Contributor

Unlike other newborn carriers, the ergo (& infant insert) support a baby's developing spine by providing supportive padding and not letting legs, etc dangle.

the ergo infant insert promotes a healthier maturation of the spine than other infant carriers because of its supportive shape and extra cushioning, and that's great news!
