One safe bet for holiday gift giving...books. Kids can never have too many since we all agree teaching children to read and enjoy reading is #1 on our educational priority list. Maybe slightly biased as an English teacher myself, I've always regarded books as the best gift to give everyone from baby to adult. When we received some of the new Begin Smart titles, the kids immediately were drawn to How Many Beeps and and Push the Button. More than just a beep, the button serves to allow interaction with counting, colors and more. With so many age appropriate titles developed by a team of experts and created by talented Harriet Ziefert the toughest, task is choosing a book. Colorful illustrations, various shapes, sizes and textures all create interest in even the youngest readers. Here are some favorites:
- Animal Faces (Newborn - 6M)
- What Does Baby See? (Newborn-6M)
- Bouncy Baby (6-12M)
- Meow & Woof (6-12M)
- Peek-a-Boo What (12-18M)
- Splish Splash (12-18M)
- How Many Beeps (18-24M)
- Who Am I? (18-24M)
Begin Smart receives a *Top Pick* designation for being the most developmentally appropriate book series and a favorite of Cool Baby Kid's editorial staff.
