I think of a resolution more as a goal. John Dewey said, "The attainment of one goal is the starting point to another." I personally use each new year as a re-assessment of the previous years' accomplishments and an opportunity to set personal goals for the year. In 2009 I set out to loose all of my 2008 baby weight, grow the blog to over 1,000 subscribers and re-enroll in class for another degree. In 2010 my goals are:
1. compete in my first figure competition.
2. finish my administrative certificate.
3. launch and grow the Double Duty Divas.

4. improve Cool Baby Kid.
The Cool Baby Kid contributors have some goals and resolutions of their own. I may have to steal some of theirs too. I particularly like Debby's forth resolution and Tina's too.
Resolution #1- Don't sweat the small stuff
Resolution #2- Do not waste time on people who do not treat me kindly in return, I can not control what other people do, how they act, or what they say.
Resoultion #3- Stick to a fitness/diet plan to lose another 10 pounds and keep it all off.

Resolution #4- Try to tell students as well as adults something kind everyday--compliment--focus on positive not negative.
My resolution is not to set myself up for failure anymore and not make a new years resolution.
1. To get fit to compete in a Figure Contest
2. To attend church....religiously. (Hehe) Honestly, to go ever week.
3. To exhibit behaviors I want my children to emulate, and eliminate those that I don't want them to copy.

My resolution is to spend less time being busy and to spend more quiet, quality time with my kids.
As a family to attend church more regularly.
For me - yoga at least 3 times per week since it has helped me
tremedously to achieve more balance and focus in my life.
